Today was a good day:
Flat gray RS5, and I really want to point out this color is absolutely fantastic. Best color available, hands down. If the wheels were black, this car would be 10/10 perfection.
I also just want to say that if it were available with a stick (it's not), I would consider the RS5 one of the best cars money can buy.
Then suddenly:
A wild NSX appeared! Unmodified, thank god.

My entire opinion on the RS5 would change if it came with a stick. It's so cool.

Good god that Audi is beautiful. The color is kinda meh though. If it were a darker grey, like gunmetal almost, it would be on point.

I saw a black RS5 driving on campus the other day. It sounds very good.

Suzuka is a nice color but Sepang Blue is the best.
and manual or not, I'd purchase and drive the fuck out of an RS5 (or any RS for that matter) if I could afford it.

That light flat grey really does it for me. It's completely non-metallic. The picture doesn't show it well, but it is so, so unique. I love it.

Is that light grey called Suzuka? I still prefer it.

yes it is, it's a nice color for sure, I've always loved the bright blues Audi uses. Nogaro, Sprint, Sepang, all lovely.

Oh, I see. Well, I eat breakfast around 6AM, and immediately run 5 miles as soon as I get home around 4pm, so I always eat my lunches before/around noon, to make sure I've got the energy later for the run.

Suzuka is more of a concrete color. This is Nardo.

I've never seen that particular color in person, but I'll keep my eyes open for it and maybe seeing it in person will change my opinion haha

My mom and I went looking to replace her A5 Coupe with a new A5 Cab. They had a Nardo Grey TT on the showroom floor. Apparently Audi charges $5,000 for exclusive exterior colors - my mother is now not getting Nardo Grey.
As for the RS5, gimme one in Prism Silver. You must see it to appreciate it.

The RS5 is quite a striking vehicle. This is one of my favorite photos of one:

Don't think Merlin is a color option for the US. The color does go all the way back to B5 S4s though. It is a great color and I would probably highly consider it for an RS6.
This guy ^^ has one of the rarest color B5s.. then he wrapped it matte orange :/

atleast the purple is safe behind a layer of orange armor. I don't know if it is a color option for the US (even though I live there). If it is not, Audi-usa needs to get their market research team some help.

I double checked on audiusa.com's car builder and it isn't listed. Though I'm sure if you waived a bit of cash around the dealer they'd special order one for you.

If I had the money for a new rs5 or rs6 I definitely would wave some money around (3-10K?)
